Veronica Bottalico Program Associate

Veronica joined JA Europe in September 2021 as Program Associate with the Education Team. Born and raised in New York, she currently resides in Barcelona, Spain.

After graduating from Hunter College with her bachelors in Psychology, Veronica spent three years serving in AmeriCorps and the PeaceCorps. During this time, she had the opportunity to work on a variety of capacity building youth programs with Habitat for Humanity and within the education field in Costa Rica. From there, she discovered her passion for both development and education and was led to pursue her Masters in International Development.

Veronica holds additional experience teaching, working on curriculum development and implementation and promoting social emotional learning within education. From her studies and experience working in different countries, she has recognized the importance of filling the gaps within the global education system. She strongly believes that increasing entrepreneurship and work readiness knowledge and opportunities to youth around the world is one of the key steps that need to be taken. With that said, she is excited to be a part of the JA movement and to continue to spread the impact it has on future generations.
