YEA Finalists 2018
The American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU) and Junior Achievement Europe (JA Europe) are delighted to announce the five finalists of the 2018 edition of the Youth Entrepreneurship Award. Since the first edition in 2013, the AmCham Eu Youth Entrepreneurship Award aims to showcase young people with entrepreneurial talent. All candidates have participated in a JA programme, made it past the initial start-up phase and have a business concept with strong growth potential.
This year the five nominees are:
Bioo is a unique technology in itself, which allows us to have electricity from the plants.
BT-InnoVaChem is an highly efficient antimicrobial agent, never used before.
Sara Green Brodersen
Deemly is a reputation and social verification software layer for online communities and sharing economy businesses increasing trust, activity and revenue.
GrowGreen is a biodegradable flower pot made from used coffee grounds, aimed to eliminate the use of plastic pots and by extension reduce carbon dioxide emission while reducing food waste at the same time.

Liight is the app that motivates people to be more sustainable in daily routines. Trought gamification and smart city system we encourage people to use the public transport, ridding bike and recycling.www.liight.es
Congratulation to those young entrepreneurs! Those five ideas will be evaluated by the jury during the online finale on the 5th of April. The winner will be announced at the annual AmCham EU Gala on Wednesday, 16 May 2018. The winning start-up will be awarded a cash prize of 10,000 euros and receive mentoring from members of AmCham EU’s Executive Council.
