Economic Opportunities for All Initiative
We believe that creating economic opportunities to those who need them the most leads to stronger economies and resilient societies.
Junior Achievement has a long track record of implementing educational programmes with demonstrated effectiveness on improving academic performance, educational expectations and entrepreneurial spirit on their beneficiaries. In the context of the current economic and post-pandemic challenges, it is urgent to continue building bridges between education and employment especially to those young people who are marginalized, lacking resources and opportunities, or live in remote areas. By empowering this segment of youth in Europe we will increase Junior Achievement’s impact and get closer to our ambition that every young person should have an entrepreneurial experience before leaving school.
In April 2021 JA Europe launched the “Economic Opportunities for All Initiative". This is co-founded and supported by NN Group – an international financial services company- through their NN Future Matters programme.
Find out more about the current and future challenges (automation, green transition) and underlying issues (social barriers, effect of COVID-19 and digital education ) and possible solutions for policy and business in order to design measures targeting young Europeans lacking resources or opportunities.
