"Inventing the Future" European final

Throughout the school year, ‘Inventing the future ‘exposes secondary school and VET students from France, Germany, Hungary and the UK to different issues and challenges related to material innovation in the manufacturing industry.

Students receive direct mentoring from highly involved Arconic business volunteers in classroom visits and national innovation camps.

The winning national student teams of the 2018-2019 edition will compete and present their innovative solutions to a specific challenge in front of an international jury including representatives from EU institutions, businesses and the education community.

The event, integrated in the official programme of the European Business Summit, will focus on the future of work and skills, and the importance of upskilling and reskilling the current workforce in the manufacturing industry to boost competitiveness and job creation in Europe.
