Arconic Foundation "Innovative Sustainability Business Idea Award"

The Arconic Foundation is supporting the Innovative Sustainability Business Idea Award as part of its mission to enhance education and improve the environmental sustainability of the communities where it operates. This year, the award will give student companies from France, Germany, Hungary and the United Kingdom the chance to join an international competition, and to develop and present innovative business ideas during the 2020/21 academic year.

On 24 June 2021, the four teams will be invited to present their work remotely in front of a jury composed by Arconic employees, representatives of the Arconic Foundations, business leaders, public figures and authorities. The winning team will be announced at the end of the event. 

In order to stand out from the rest, the winning of the winning team will have to demonstrate their skills on:

1. Problem solving and innovation, showing that the service or product is an innovative idea in the field of sustainability and clearly explaining what the solution is solving;
2. Business model, including core aspects (mission, processes, costs and pricing, target market / costumers, marketing structure, organizational structure, etc.); and
3. Working prototype of the business idea.
