We invite you to join us virtually for the 31st anniversary of the JA Europe Company of the Year Competition on 22-24 July, hosted by JA Portugal. Hundreds of young entrepreneurs, who have participated in the year-long JA Company Programme and who qualified at the national-level, will compete for the title of JA Europe Company of the Year 2020. For its 8th edition, the AmCham EU Youth Entrepreneurship Award (YEA) is going all-female, featuring 5 young women who represent the strongest start-ups from a pool of JA alumnæ across Europe. The Award, organised in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU) is a symbol of our support for jobs, growth and innovation, as well as a commitment to the future prosperity of Europe.

The competition is JA Europe’s annual celebration of the achievements of its Start Up Programme for students and their companies from across Europe. Wondering who will be the best social innovator of the year? The Global Final Competition of the Social Innovation Relay (SIR) is on its way!
The SIR is an innovative programme designed to support the development of essential skills for students, while underscoring the important link between businesses and social good. Student around the world collaborate with NN mentors to create business concepts that address social challenges.
As an ending point of the activities, the national winners from 10 participating countries will present their social business ideas during the Global Final Competition. The event will take place on 16 June from 9:00 to 12:00 (CET). More information about the partnership here.
