Gianluca Marinelli

Gianluca’s entrepreneurial journey started in 2018 when he, together with his teammates, founded SOVI Solutions. They first participated in the national Start-up competition organised by JA Luxembourg, and won the first prize that allowed them to take part in the European final organized by Junior Achievement Europe in Riga where Gianluca won the Leadership Award. SOVI’s invention solves a niche problem with an innovative solution called Talkii, an AAC software improving the life quality of people not being able to speak. Gianluca’s fiancé has two brothers who communicated with laminated paper pictograms, and he thaught that they and other people deserve something more modern and user-friendly to use! One of the main achievements is that Talkii is now reimbursed by the national health insurance (under certain conditions) and is used daily in public schools, during speech therapy sessions, in various rehabilitation centres and soon in various hospitals in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
