Re-Valuing Urban Quality & Climate Neutrality in European Waterfront Cities – Re-Value
Re-Value is a forward-thinking project that seeks to redefine the value of urban spaces by integrating social, economic, and environmental considerations. By empowering communities, and prioritising sustainability, and harnessing technology and data, the project aims to create cities that are not only climate neutral but also socially inclusive and economically prosperous.
JA Europe supports the Re-Value Consortium whose key objectives is to promote transparent and participatory decision-making processes in urban development. Specifically, JA Europe will hold Innovation Camps in each target city to involve youth and parents in order to build mindfulness and develop skills to shape local planning and design. This action will support awareness about climate-neutrality and its challenges in decision making processes and engage the young generation in active citizenship.
