FERD’S List 2025 Nominations Now Open!

The FERD’S List is a joint initiative by JA Europe and Ferd, established to recognise inspirational young entrepreneurs and leaders who have transformed their Junior Achievement experiences into impactful and enduring careers. As Johan H. Andresen, Chairman of Ferd, describes them, these honourees are innovators who are “creating value and leaving lasting footprints.”

All members of the FERD’S List share a common thread: they participated in a JA entrepreneurial programme at school. This hands-on experience helped them develop self-awareness, gain practical skills, and ultimately make better choices for themselves and their communities.

Criteria for Nomination

  • Participation in a Junior Achievement Company Programme (or equivalent)
  • Outstanding entrepreneur and/or leader aged 25 to 45
  • Proven change-maker and innovator
  • Evidence of a growing business or thriving organisation
  • Demonstrated contribution to social, cultural, or financial value creation
  • Driven by a desire to succeed whilst giving back, serving as role models who inspire others
  • Trustworthy, passionate, and of high integrity, with excellent communication and leadership skills

Nominations can be submitted by a JA office, a JA Alumni network, or JA Alumni Honoris. If you know a JA Alumnus/Alumna who embodies these criteria, we encourage you to submit a nomination. Join us in celebrating those who carry the JA spirit forward, fostering a legacy of innovation, leadership, and meaningful impact.
