Dominik Schirle
Born and raised in southern Germany near Stuttgart, Dominik developed an early interest in entrepreneurship and innovation. While still in school, he joined the JA programme in Germany, where he co-founded a student company. This project did not end with the programme but was successfully continued afterward, laying the foundation for his passion in business and leadership.
Building on this experience, Dominik later became Chair of JA Alumni Germany, representing young entrepreneurs and leaders across the country and actively contributing to the European alumni network. This role strengthened his international perspective and expanded a valuable network across Europe.
Pursuing higher education, Dominik studied at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, one of Europe’s leading institutions for business and management. During this time, he co-created and scaled START Summit in St. Gallen, which has since grown into one of the largest and most recognized startup festivals in Europe.
Alongside academic and organizational work, Dominik launched his own company, specializing in consulting and developing marketing and event projects. Today, he and his team operates internationally, managing projects across Europe, the Middle East and India, combining entrepreneurship with a global vision.
If it weren’t for the JA program, I would have never had the courage to start my own startups.
