Are you passionate about digital communications, youth entrepreneurship and media engagement?

JA Europe is looking for a motivated and proactive Communications Consultant to support the communications of its Entrepreneurship Education campaign and its projects, including GEN-E 2027, Europe’s largest youth entrepreneurship festival. If you can turn great storytelling into coordinated, data-informed campaigns, this role could be for you.

Position Overview

JA Europe’s Entrepreneurship Education campaign brings together a range of projects that inspire and prepare young people for entrepreneurship. GEN-E 2027 is its flagship moment, gathering young entrepreneurs, student companies, educators, business leaders and partners from across Europe.

From November 2026 to July 2027, you will help coordinate and deliver the campaign’s communications, working with the JA Europe Communications team and, for GEN-E, the communications team of the host country’s JA organisation. From December 2026, you will also develop monthly social media plans and co-create content with JA member nations, keeping messaging consistent across the European network.

You will work closely with the Head of Communications, Marketing and Policy, who sets priorities and signs off on key messaging and materials. You will handle day-to-day coordination, propose ideas and improvements, and keep every deliverable aligned with JA Europe’s communications strategy and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Planning & Content: Develop the campaign communications plan, editorial calendar and content, showcasing young entrepreneurs, student companies, partners and project outcomes. Collect stories, testimonials, photos and videos from national JA organisations, participants, speakers and partners, and support the visibility of partners and sponsors.

Social Media & Network Co-Creation: Develop monthly social media plans (December 2026 – July 2027) and co-create adaptable content with the JA Europe, host-country and member-nation teams, who tailor it to their audiences. Monitor uptake across national channels.

Partner & Speaker Engagement: Prepare updates, guidelines and promotional toolkits for partners, coordinate digital activations such as Instagram Live sessions, webinars and virtual launches, and manage speaker outreach, briefings and features.

Website Content: Review GEN-E and campaign website content for accuracy and completeness, recommend new content such as speaker profiles, partner features and participant stories, and coordinate updates with the website team.

Media Outreach: Build on JA Europe’s media contacts and database, draft press releases and pitches, and secure and track coverage at European and national levels.

Analytics & Coordination: Track performance (reach, engagement, audience growth, video views, clicks), turn the data into clear recommendations, coordinate deadlines and inputs, report regularly to the Head of Communications, Marketing and Policy, and follow agreed approval processes.

Expected Deliverables

A campaign communications plan and content calendar covering the Entrepreneurship Education campaign and GEN-E 2027

Monthly social media plans and co-created content, December 2026 to July 2027

Partner and speaker communication materials and digital activations

Website content reviews and recommendations

A media outreach plan, media contact database and coverage tracking

Regular analytics reports and a final communications report with key learnings and recommendations

Specific deliverables, reporting frequency and workload will be agreed at the start of the consultancy and aligned with the campaign’s communications calendar.

We are looking for YOU

If you are a proactive communicator who turns stories and data into coordinated campaigns, we would love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will bring:

3–5 years of relevant experience in communications, digital marketing, social media management, media relations or campaign delivery.

Experience planning and running social media campaigns, ideally for events, brands, youth initiatives or international organisations.

Experience co-creating content with multiple stakeholders or distributed teams, and coordinating with partners across different countries.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into practical recommendations.

Experience drafting press releases, media pitches and stories for external audiences.

Excellent writing and editing skills in English.

Strong organisational skills, independence in managing multiple deliverables and deadlines, and confidence working remotely with an international team.

An interest in youth entrepreneurship, education, employability, innovation and the future of Europe’s workforce.

The following would be considered an asset:

Experience communicating major events, festivals or international campaigns.

Familiarity with social media analytics and management tools (LinkedIn Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite), media monitoring platforms, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems and AI-powered communications tools.

Experience working with non-profit organisations, European networks or EU-funded initiatives.

What we offer

The chance to shape communications for JA Europe’s Entrepreneurship Education campaign and GEN-E 2027, Europe’s largest youth entrepreneurship festival.

A focused, part-time consultancy with defined responsibilities and tangible deliverables.
