Kristina Velkovska

Kristina serves as the Chief Financial Officer at JA Europe, where she plays a pivotal role in project development, financial oversight, contract management, compliance and HR administration. With a focus on managing European projects and overseeing initiatives supported by European institutions, she stays attuned to policies related to entrepreneurship education, multilingualism, digital skills, and STEM fields. In her day-to-day, Kristina manages JA Europe’s finances, handling everything from receivables to budget execution in close collaboration with project managers. Before joining JA Europe, she gained valuable experience as Programme Coordinator at the Balkan Children and Youth Foundation, leading project development and implementation in South-eastern Europe. Kristina holds a university degree in Foreign Trade and International Organizations and Integration from University of St Cyril and Methodius. Email: kristina@jaeurope.org
