Emma Joined JA Europe in June 2018 as a Project Manager after having worked at the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission. In her role at the Agency, she developed a wide range of project management and project monitoring skills by following Erasmus+ Projects in the field of education and training. After her graduation, she studied Youth Work and Social Work and she holds a Master’s degree in Ethnic and Minority Studies. Before moving to Brussels, she worked for the Hungarian Institute for Educational Research and Development as a researcher and analyst on monitoring the development of the institutional system of pedagogical services.
She has wide-range of working experience as a community development and social worker with different target groups such as adults with down-syndrome, children with autism spectrum disorder, asylum seekers, roma communities, and youth with disadvantaged backgrounds. She has developed excellent communication skills in international circumstances through time spent living and working in different countries, the Netherlands, Portugal, Hungary and now in Belgium.
