How Virtual Internships can foster youth employability

Are you a young person looking for opportunities to develop your skills, grow professionally and boost your resume by undertaking your internship no matter where are you based?

Virtual internships do have a transformative potential in enhancing youth employability across Europe. The Virtual Internships for Inclusive Societies (VI4IS) project, co funded by the European Union is dedicated to enhancing access to internship opportunities for young people across Europe. The ultimate goal is to remove geographical and socio-economic barriers that often limit youth participation in internship programmes.

By testing the Virtual Internship with participants from Serbia, North Macedonia, Spain and Italy the VI4IS project identified some key policy recommendations to address existing barriers and improve the overall framework for virtual internships.

You can read the Policy Recommendations for improvement of virtual internships on European Level here: VI4IS Policy Recommendations EU
