JA Europe is coordinating Code4Europe, a European initiative building on the success of EU Code Week to help young people develop coding, computational thinking and digital skills.

JA Europe is coordinating Code4Europe, leading a consortium of 41 partners and 4 associated partners from over 20 countries with the mission to empower 25 million Europeans with coding skills.
Through collaboration between education, industry and civil society partners, Code4Europe aims to expand access to digital education and inspire more young people to explore technology and digital careers.
Reimagining a grassroots movement
EU Code Week is an international grassroots movement celebrating creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration through programming and tech activities since 2013. Supported by the European Commission, it encourages participation from everyone, especially schools.
Code4Europe gives it a mandate to drive real change in digital education throughout Europe, with a focus on vastly increasing the number of young people who choose digital careers.
