JA Europe, in partnership with JA Georgia, JA Moldova, JA Ukraine, JA Lithuania, and the We Share Forward Foundation, is leading the EU4Youth project “Building Back Better Through Social Entrepreneurship” to empower young people (ages 17–19) in Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. Running from August 2023 to July 2025, the initiative equips youth with skills, mentorship, and funding to launch social enterprises, fostering employment, inclusion, and resilience in response to regional challenges. In its first year, over 2,000 students and 276 teachers were trained; in the second, 45 youth-led startups received €2,000 in seed funding and mentorship. The project supports EU and UN goals by promoting green innovation, youth empowerment, and inclusive development, with recommendations for improved policy, funding, education, and cross-border collaboration.
