Alexandra Dimitriadou is the Co-founder and CEO of MammoCheck, a startup that empowers women to perform breast examinations at home using their smartphones. She conceived the idea for the business based on personal experiences and her passion for making a significant global impact by saving lives. Alexandra is an ACCA trainee and holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cyprus. She also serves as an Assurance Associate at Grant Thornton (Cyprus) Limited, where she has acquired extensive knowledge of the financial industry through work experience and participation in business seminars, including the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), “Marketing: The Core”, and “The Innovation Game”.
Alexandra secured 2nd place in the prestigious AmCham EU Youth Entrepreneurship Award 2023. She shared MammoCheck’s vision in Finland, Qatar, at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, and at the European Commission in Brussels when invited to provide insights on bringing innovative healthcare to the market during the Eunite4Health Innovation Demo Day. Alexandra is responsible for MammoCheck’s business development, financial planning, marketing strategy, project management, and promotion. Over the past three years, she has developed exceptional communication and pitching skills through exposure to competitions, investors, collaborators, and stakeholders.
