João Villas Boas

João is a trained Medical Doctor, and an entrepreneur, innovator and leader at heart. Currently in his second year of PhD studies focused on Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital and Startup Teams’ dynamics, he is investigating ‘What makes Peak Performance Teams: what distinguishes startup teams that raise a Series A round of funding from the ones that only raise a seed round?’. More importantly, he’s the Co-Founder and CEO of Sailside, 1 of the Top 20 Portuguese tourism startups.
