Petra Veres

Petra Veres joined JA Europe as a Development Associate in the summer of 2024. With diverse and extensive background in client and partnership management, as well as operations and process development, Petra brings valuable expertise gained from her work with a wide range of organisations, including NGOs, government departments, UN agencies, foundations, private sector entities, and academic institutions. Her experience as an advisor, researcher, and consultant has equipped her with a unique perspective on fostering impactful collaboration across sectors. In her role at JA Europe, Petra supports the Development team, nurturing relationships with existing corporate partners while actively exploring new collaborations to enhance financial literacy and entrepreneurship skills amongst the youth in Europe. Petra’s commitment to empowering young people is reflected in her previous roles coordinating and advising youth programmes across Europe and mentoring students on career development and on the importance of cultivating positive habits. She is also currently developing her own start-up in the UK, further fuelling her dedication to the entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to her focus on educational innovation, capacity building in organisations, start-up creation and SME development, Petra has a strong interest in exploring innovative financial models and contracting practices that foster collaboration between diverse stakeholders.
