Siobhan McDonagh

Siobhan started her career in 1989 at Marks and Spencer PLC, where she held numerous roles over an eleven-year period as Human Resources Manager in various stores nationwide and in Ireland. In 2000, she moved to the global law firm Linklaters LLP as Human Resources Manager for the Corporate Division. In 2005, Siobhan expanded her experience into the financial sector with Merrill Lynch, and subsequently Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she was the Global Head of Human Resources for Corporate Banking and for the Investment Banking Division. In 2011, she moved to Credit Suisse as Global Head of Human Resources for Finance, Operations and IT and Head of EMEA Human Resources. In 2014, she became Global Head of Investment Bank Human Resources at UBS, moving in 2016 as Head of Human Resources UK and Global Head of Investment Bank, where she was responsible for leading global human resources strategies, including the engagement of all employees to make a difference volunteering in local communities. Siobhan was also a Trustee for the UBS Optimus Foundation and a Governor of The Bridge Academy. In May 2022, Siobhan was appointed Global Head of Group People & Culture at UniCredit based in Milan, Italy. Additionally, she is now to be involved in JA Europe which is Europe’s largest provider of education programs focusing on the opportunities for the next generation.
