Vanda Franciscy
Director for Development and Stewardship
Vanda Franciscy joined JA Europe in 2006 and currently serves as Director for Development and Stewardship. In this role, she leads the development, implementation, and management of strategic partnerships while overseeing JA Europe’s accounts. She works closely with the organization’s 42 Member Organizations and collaborates with key partners such as FedEx, ManpowerGroup, Euroclear, Delta Air Lines, Johnson & Johnson, Arrow Global, Bata, Goodyear, and others.
Her journey with JA began in 1996, when she first engaged with JA Slovakia as a volunteer, consultant, and jury member. Deeply committed to giving back to her community and empowering the next generation of leaders, Vanda has built her career at the intersection of education, business, and social impact.
Before joining JA Europe, she pursued a diverse professional path, beginning as an entrepreneur while completing her studies at the University of Economics in Slovakia. Vanda holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Tourism & Hotel Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing, and she further expanded her academic experience with studies in Management and Marketing in Sydney, Australia.
Her career spans industries including hospitality, travel, events, advertising, and pharmaceuticals, where she has contributed her expertise to a wide range of projects and initiatives. Vanda is fluent in Slovak, Czech, and English, with working knowledge of Russian and German.
