Position Overview:
You’ll be leading the charge. Overseeing the management and implementation of EU-funded projects, you will work closely with all relevant departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality. Your strong communication skills will be essential for building relationships with stakeholders and fostering collaboration within the consortia. Your expertise in public grant management will be instrumental in providing technical expertise related to Grant Agreement compliance and project reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Be the face of the project: As autonomous project manager you are the primary contact for all stakeholders.
- Keep things on track and guide the team: Oversee the work plan, milestones and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time. Support Work Package and Task Leaders in delivering project outputs and manage budgets.
- Deliver the goods: Draft and submit project reports, milestones, and deliverables.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Identify potential risks and proactively address them.
- Build strong relationships: Coordinate with stakeholders and maintain open communication within the consortium.
- Stay organised: Schedule and facilitate meetings, capture notes, and manage project documentation.
Must have:
- You have minimum 5 years of experience in managing complex projects, with several interconnected deliverables, milestones and partners/contributors.
- You are experienced in the management, implementation and reporting of publicly funded projects (e.g. Erasmus+, Horizon, Creative Europe, USAID, UNICEF, GIZ, …).
- You have strong organisational and time management skills.
- You are an agile thinker with the ability to coordinate information and processes involving multiple people/teams.
- You can manage a complex workload and are comfortable multi-tasking.
- You are an independent problem solver and take initiative.
- You have good interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and can work collaboratively with staff at all levels within the organisation.
- You listen to others and are able to guide team members.
- You have a passion for working with people from all walks of life, with cultural sensitivity and understanding.
- You are experienced in running in-person, online and hybrid project meetings and are willing to travel in Europe.
- You have a common-sense approach, with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt to an evolving professional environment.
- You have excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
- You pay attention to detail in written work and are able to create informative decks and summaries for different audiences and purposes.
- You are able to present information clearly both in written form and in front of an audience, and you are comfortable with public speaking.
Nice to have:
- Bonus points for language skills: Speaking an additional EU language will give you a competitive edge.
- Media and audiovisual expertise: If you have experience in the media or audiovisual industry, that’s a big plus.
- Project management certification: A project management certification can support to demonstrate your skills and experience
