Held under the High Patronage of President Emmanuel Macron at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the European Tech Sovereignty Summit 2026 brought together 150 selected leaders from Europe’s technology, investment, corporate, and policy communities to discuss the future of innovation, competitiveness, and technological sovereignty.
Representing the organisation, JA Europe CEO Salvatore Nigro participated in the Summit and engaged with key stakeholders.
Among the highlights was a meeting with Erkki Keldo, Minister of Economy and Industry of Estonia, to exchange perspectives on innovation, AI, entrepreneurship, skills, and Europe’s economic competitiveness.
The discussion also highlighted Estonia’s strong commitment to investing in young people. Through JA Estonia (JA Eesti), more than 30,000 learning experiences are delivered every year, helping students build entrepreneurial skills, confidence, and real-world experience. These contribute to the more than 7.5 million learning experiences delivered annually across the JA Europe network.
JA Europe extends its thanks to Paradise Group, Adopt AI, and the Summit organisers for convening this important dialogue on Europe’s future.
