We are excited to announce the launch of the 2027 UPS Healthcare Award application—celebrating outstanding youth-led innovation in the healthcare sector with a potential impact on the logistics industry and/or UPS across Europe.
This award is open to JA alumni aged 18–30 who are founders or co-founders of a start-up in the healthcare industry.
Why Apply?
The three winners of the UPS Healthcare Award will benefit from visibility and networking with senior leaders from UPS Healthcare and the healthcare sector online and in Brussels, alongside with receiving EUR 5.000 cash prize for the 1st, EUR 3.000 cash prize for the 2nd and EUR 2.000 cash prize for the 3rd place.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants’ startup has not previously proceeded to the top 3 of the 2026 UPS Healthcare Award
- Participation in a Junior Achievement entrepreneurship programme in Europe
- Age 18–30 at the time of application
- Serving as CEO, Founder, or Co-founder of a startup operating in the healthcare sector
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to growing and scaling their business
- Eager to enhance their entrepreneurial skills through online and in-person networking with UPS Healthcare leaders and UPS partners
- Based in one of JA Europe’s 42 member countries
- Available to travel in spring 2027 for the award ceremony
- Able to submit a completed application by 31st December 2026 (midnight CET)
Applicants should emphasise in their application how their solution and Startup would be relevant to healthcare sector.

- Interviews for top selected startup teams: February/March 2027
- Second Competition Round: Top 3 startups announcement: March 2027
Third Competition Round:
- Award ceremony: April 2027, Brussels (exact date and time to be confirmed in early 2027)
