Annual IP in Education Network Meeting hosted by EUIPO

Salvatore Nigro, CEO of JA Europe, joined the annual IP in Education Network Meeting hosted by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), bringing together representatives from EU Intellectual Property Offices, Ministries of Education and Culture, universities and other education stakeholders.

The meeting provided an opportunity to explore how intellectual property education can contribute to fostering entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, while strengthening Europe’s competitiveness through education.

As Europe’s leading organisation in entrepreneurship education, JA Europe shared its experience in developing an entrepreneurial mindset among young people and raising awareness of the importance of intellectual property from an early age. Equipping students with the knowledge and skills to understand, protect and value their ideas is an essential part of preparing the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs.

The exchange highlighted the importance of collaboration between education systems, public institutions and organisations working to empower young people, ensuring that intellectual property becomes an integral part of Europe’s learning and innovation ecosystem.

JA Europe thanks EUIPO and all network members for the valuable exchange and their continued commitment to advancing intellectual property education across Europe.
