JA Europe joined the Love Tomorrow Summit in Belgium, bringing its perspective on the role of young people and entrepreneurship in building a more innovative, sustainable and inclusive Europe.
Represented by CEO Salvatore Nigro and Deputy CEO and Chief Development Officer Diana Filip, JA Europe contributed to conversations bringing together policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders around the partnerships and ideas needed to address Europe’s future challenges.
The summit also provided an opportunity to engage with Glenn Micallef, European Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, and exchange perspectives on how young people can play an active role in Europe’s economic and societal transformation.
This ambition is at the heart of JA Europe’s work: giving young people the skills, entrepreneurial mindset and confidence to turn ideas into action. Through programmes across Europe, and initiatives such as GEN-E, Europe’s largest entrepreneurship festival, young people are given the opportunity to develop solutions to real-world challenges, test their ideas and experience entrepreneurship first-hand.
Love Tomorrow reinforced a message central to JA Europe’s work: young people should not only be prepared for the future, but have the opportunity to help build it.
