At the JA Belgium FR – Les Jeunes Entreprises asbl (LJE) National Finals, the strength and creativity of student-led innovation were on full display, with two teams recognised for the quality and impact of their projects.
In the Mini‑Entreprise programme, Petits Héros developed educational comics aimed at helping children address and overcome bullying, combining creativity with a clear social purpose. In the YEP programme, IsiSoil introduced FertiRoll, an ecological turf solution that transforms waste into value by recycling sewage sludge, contributing to more sustainable resource management. Both teams will now represent LJE at the European #Gen_E 2026 festival in Riga.
The event also provided an opportunity to engage with Eléonore Simonet, Federal Minister of Small Business, the Self-Employed and SMEs of Belgium, in a discussion on the role of entrepreneurial education in preparing young people for the future.
LJE’s contribution to this agenda is significant. In this past year alone, the organisation has delivered more than 41,000 learning experiences, reinforcing its position as a key actor in developing entrepreneurial competences and supporting youth employability at scale.
