Putting Skills at the Heart of the AI Revolution at VivaTech 2026

With 180,000 participants, 14,000 startups, 4,000 partners, and 3,600 investors, VivaTech 2026 brought in Paris the innovators, business leaders, and policymakers shaping the future of technology and work.

Salvatore Nigro, CEO of JA Europe, and Diana Filip, Deputy CEO & Chief Development Officer, represented the organisation at the event, joining conversations on how AI, skills, and innovation are transforming the future of work.

Among the key moments was the ManpowerGroup panel, “A Better Candidate Experience for Next Gen Talent”, where Diana Filip joined industry leaders Sébastien Delfosse, Senior Vice President & Global Brand Leader, Manpower, and Greg Dunbar, Chief Commercial Officer, Hubert, in a discussion moderated by Anthony White, UK Marketing, Communications & Influence Director, ManpowerGroup, to explore a critical question: How can AI help employers recognise potential, not just credentials?

As recruitment evolves, the challenge is clear: ensuring technology creates more inclusive, skills-based pathways into employment. Through entrepreneurial learning experiences such as the JA Company Programme, young people develop and demonstrate the capabilities employers increasingly value, from teamwork and problem-solving to entrepreneurial thinking and AI literacy.

The event also highlighted the long-term impact of entrepreneurship education through the participation of JA Alumni Europe representatives Mohamed Benziane and Stephanie Bernal.

A sincere thank you to ManpowerGroup and JA Europe Board Member Riccardo Barberis for their longstanding partnership and shared commitment to helping young people turn skills into opportunity and potential into impact.
